Karamu enters mid-2018 with a bright future. Considering that only a few years ago it was
rumored that the nationally important African American institution was on
death’s doorstep, this is an amazing success story. Their recent Homecoming celebration is a
welcome sign that there is much to come from “the joyful gathering place.”
